Beauty Professionals Qualified in Phlebotomy Encouraged to Volunteer to Administer Covid Vaccinations

New workforce legislation means a wider group of professionals are able to safely administer the COVID-19 vaccine. This improves access to vaccines while minimising any impact on existing services. For those that are qualified in phlebotomy, they are encouraged to volunteer to administer Covid vaccinations to support the government in the vaccination project. This expanded workforce will work alongside GPs, nurses, pharmacists and other professionals in primary,community and acute care experienced in delivering vaccination programmes.
