Asda Supermarket To Serve Up Health Spa Sessions

 

Asda has introduced an innovative concept in the UK by launching the Asda Health Menu Spa, the world's first supermarket spa. This unique initiative aligns with their new Health Menu range, offering a variety of holistic health treatments. The spa treatments are paired with meals from the Health Menu to highlight the functional health benefits of these foods. Prices for these treatments are quite affordable, starting at £2.25.

The treatments focus on various health aspects like muscle health, bone health, and energy boost, each paired with a specific meal from the Health Menu. The Health Menu itself, developed by in-house nutritionists, comprises over 45 new products aimed at improving gut health, heart health, immunity, and more. These products are designed to be nutritious, flavourful, and cost-effective.

Asda's initiative is a response to the challenges many face in accessing healthy and nutritious meals, which are often perceived as expensive and time-consuming. This move is not only a unique marketing strategy for their Health Menu range but also a step towards making health and wellness more accessible and affordable.

The Asda Health Menu Spa treatments include:

  • The Muscle Health: Relieve your muscle aches and pains with a thorough deep tissue massage, paired with either the Fragrant Thai Red Chicken Bowl or a rich Cod and Kimchi Spiced Fishcakes

  • The Bone Health: Experience a therapeutic hot stone massage, reducing muscular tension and bone stiffness and paired with either the Creamy Butternut Squash Linguine or the Fragrant Prawn Laksa Pot

  • The Energy Boost: An intense Indian Head Massage set to renew energy levels paired with either the flavoursome Fiery Jerk Chicken Bowl or the Herby Pesto Penne Chicken Bowl.

The spa is open from 23rd – 25th January at 104 Islington High St, London N1 8EG. Prices start from £2.25 and cost no more than £4.75, with all proceeds going towards Asda’s charity partner, Tickled Pink.
