Navy Professional Navy Restore Salve
Navy Professional has expanded its range with the launch of Navy Restore Salve, a concentrated, multi-purpose balm developed for dry, compromised and environmentally stressed skin. The water-free, additive-free formula is designed to serve both professional kits and everyday routines, melting into the skin on contact to form a weightless, protective barrier that locks in moisture.
At the centre of the formula is Castorlatum, a purified castor oil derivative that conditions and protects while allowing the skin to function naturally. Shea butter improves softness and elasticity, squalene supports hydration by working with the skin's own oil, and a blend of rosehip, jojoba and black seed oils delivers essential fatty acids to replenish and calm stressed skin. Vitamin E provides antioxidant support against daily environmental exposure. The salve is suitable for face, body and cuticles, with hands, elbows and heels the most obvious targets, and is vegan, cruelty-free and palm oil-free, housed in fully recyclable aluminium tubes.
Founder Rebecca Crawforth said the product came from a simple need: "Skin that is dry, overworked or exposed to the elements needs consistent care that works properly without unnecessary complexity." She added that the launch reflects the brand's long-held belief in maintenance over quick fixes.
Navy Professional was launched in 2018 by Crawforth, who founded the company with £40,000 following brain surgery in 2015 and built it into one of the most recognisable names in professional nail care, best known for its gold manicure tools. Based in the Yorkshire countryside, the independent brand has built its reputation on professional-grade quality and ethical production. Crawforth also founded SalonRated, the UK's first regulated salon directory.
Navy Restore Salve is available now at navyprofessional.com in two sizes: 30ml at £18.95 and 75ml at £28.
