BTL establishes new laser division and introduces EXOLASE ONE
BTL has established a dedicated laser division and introduced EXOLASE ONE, a facial rejuvenation platform based on fused erbium laser technology.
The system combines multiple erbium laser wavelengths into a single beam, delivering them to the same treatment area simultaneously. BTL is positioning it as the first medical application of the technology, designed to improve treatment speed, clinical efficacy and patient comfort. EXOLASE ONE can perform work that would ordinarily require several ablative and non-ablative systems, simplifying the treatment process and enabling practitioners to treat the full face in under 10 minutes.
“The technology covers what normally requires multiple ablative and non-ablative systems, transforming it into a remarkably simple procedure that treats the entire face in under 10 minutes while delivering superior results for our patients,” said Dr Reha Yavuzer, one of the first clinical investigators for the platform.
The device was developed through BTL’s research and development programme and will be manufactured at the company’s European facility.
“This is a historic moment for BTL. From the beginning, we knew that only a genuinely disruptive technology would allow us to build a true laser powerhouse,” said Tomas Schwarz, CEO of BTL Group of Companies. “Based on feedback from pioneering clinical centers worldwide, EXOLASE ONE represents exactly this kind of breakthrough.”
EXOLASE ONE is initially being made available through an early-access programme for selected key opinion leaders. A broader global launch is scheduled for 2027, with the first phase focused on aesthetic medicine and dermatology.
The new laser division becomes BTL’s sixth core division, joining its existing work across aesthetics, mental wellness, rehabilitation, cardiology and robotics.
