Sunlighten Introduces Intelligent Wellness Platform PulseIQ

Infrared sauna brand Sunlighten has launched PulseIQ, a new intelligent wellness platform that delivers four distinct infrared wavelengths independently rather than blending them together.

The Kansas-based company, which has operated in the infrared sauna market for more than 25 years, says the new platform addresses a fundamental limitation in how most infrared saunas currently work. Standard full-spectrum saunas blend red light, near-, mid-, and far-infrared wavelengths into a single output. Sunlighten says this reduces the effectiveness of each wavelength because the body cannot fully distinguish and absorb them when they are combined.

PulseIQ isolates each wavelength and delivers it separately at a controlled intensity, with the aim of improving how much usable energy the body actually absorbs in each session.

PulseIQ at a glance

  • 4 wavelengths delivered independently: red light, near-, mid-, and far-infrared

  • 6 science-backed wellness programmes covering recovery, detoxification, relaxation, and performance

  • Precision temperature and energy control to keep the body within optimal therapeutic ranges

  • Platform designed to evolve over time with personalised programme recommendations

Each wavelength is assigned a specific function. Red light targets skin health and surface repair. Near-infrared supports cellular energy and recovery. Mid-infrared addresses circulation and muscle recovery. Far-infrared works at core temperature level to support detoxification.

"Infrared has never been about heat alone. It is about how the body responds to light. With PulseIQ, we control the light your body is receiving so it can absorb more of what it needs. That leads to better outcomes, whether you are focused on recovery, relaxation, or long-term wellness" comments Connie Zack, Co-Founder, Sunlighten.

The platform launches with six guided wellness programmes, each designed around a specific outcome. Rather than requiring users to manage settings manually, PulseIQ controls the energy delivery throughout the session.
