Dermalogica names Hollie Mills as Sales Director as Sally Penford Departs

Dermalogica has announced that after an extraordinary 30-year career with the brand, Sales Director Sally Penford will be leaving the business at the end of August.
A founding member of the Dermalogica UK & Ireland team, Penford has been pivotal in building the company’s education programmes, PR, sales strategy and culture. She played a key role in shaping Dermalogica’s long-term strategic direction, commercial growth and industry leadership which helped transform the business from a UK start-up into a globally recognised professional skincare leader.
During her tenure, Penford launched and led Dermalogica’s education division and created one of the most respected professional training infrastructures in the industry. Her frameworks for professional development have since been adopted across markets and inspired thousands of skin therapists worldwide. More recently as Sales Director, she successfully guided a team through periods of growth and change, developing new business models and strengthening long-standing partnerships while navigating shifting market dynamics with resilience and foresight.
Her leadership has been defined by clarity, connection and purpose; inspiring generations of professional skin therapists, colleagues and industry peers. She is widely recognised for her ability to combine human-centred leadership with commercial strategy, qualities that continue to make her a valued voice in the professional beauty and wellness sectors.

Reflecting on her departure, Penford said: “My leadership is grounded in purpose, culture and people. Looking ahead, Dermalogica has confirmed that Hollie Mills will step into the role. Mills is currently the Associate Sales Director and worked closely with Penford over recent years and will continue to build on her legacy, driving growth and supporting Dermalogica’s professional community across the UK & Ireland.
