FaceGym Heads North With First Manchester Studio
FaceGym is continuing its push beyond London with the opening of its first Manchester studio this September, bringing the brand’s facial workout concept to King Street in the city centre. Opening on 9 September, the new location marks another step in FaceGym’s UK expansion and will introduce its fitness-inspired approach to facial treatments to the North West.
Rather than positioning a facial as a passive treatment, FaceGym has built its name around the idea of a “workout” for the face. Its treatments combine massage and facial manipulation techniques with skincare, delivered in the energetic studio format that has become central to the brand. The Manchester opening will be led by franchise partners Minesh and Hoosein, both of whom arrive with considerable experience building multi-site businesses.
Minesh previously spent 11 years developing an EE franchise into a 12-store operation, following an earlier career in finance and accountancy that included experience at a Big Four audit firm and within a US corporate environment. Hoosein, meanwhile, has more than two decades of banking experience, including four years working in Regional Franchise Finance. He subsequently moved from financing franchise businesses to operating them himself, building a portfolio of 13 Costa Coffee locations before exiting the business. His interests have since expanded across telecoms, food and beverage and property.
It gives FaceGym two operators with experience of scaling businesses behind its Manchester debut, at a time when the brand is looking to establish a considerably larger footprint across the UK.
Manchester was selected for its growing beauty and wellness market and its potential to introduce FaceGym to an audience outside its established London base. The King Street studio will offer the brand’s signature facial workouts in the same fitness-led format found across its existing locations.
For the launch itself, FaceGym is also giving Manchester an incentive to arrive early. The first 30 people through the studio doors on 9 September will receive a complimentary Express Signature Sculpt.

Huda Beauty has teamed up with Cardi B for the launch of Ultra Snatched, a new limited colour story across the brand’s Easy Bake powder franchise designed around brightening, lifting and blurring the complexion. The collaboration brings together Huda Beauty founder and CEO Huda Kattan and Cardi B, with the pair developing a combination of bold pink and lilac tones intended to create what the brand describes as an “Ultra Snatched” finish. The concept centres on using pink to brighten and lilac to visually lift the complexion, while retaining the blurred, airbrushed finish associated with the Easy Bake range.
